Activate Your InsideSOU Account
To activate your InsideSOU account, go to inside.sou.edu and select “Students-Activate Your Account” from the right-side “Account Help” section.
Submit the Enrollment Deposit

Sign up for Raider Registration
All newly admitted students are expected to attend a Raider Registration event for advising and registration needs. For more details, please visit our Raider Registration page.

After graduating high school or completing college work, send the Office of Admissions your final official transcripts as soon as they are available. See our How to Apply page.
Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov by March 1st. To be considered for SOU scholarships, be sure to complete the Southern Online Scholarship Application (SOSA).
Submit the Housing Application
Submit your housing application to reserve a room in our residence halls. Check out the residence hall and family housing options at sou.edu/housing .
Submit Health History Form and Immunization Records

Order Your Textbooks
As soon as you are registered for classes, you can reserve your textbooks online through our bookstore at sou.edu/bookstore .
Pay Your Tuition and Fees
